Celebrate MLK Day with meaning, movement, and music!
Preschool-age children and their families are invited for a morning of social action, song, movement and a chance to make a difference in our community. Together we will answer Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 's challenge that we “do something for others.”
Families will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on service projects benefitting organizations in the Atlanta community, move their bodies to music with Here We Grow, and get creative and maybe a little messy at learning and mitzvah stations.
We warmly welcome interfaith and multifaith families to join us in this program. Rooted in the Jewish tradition, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive, understanding, and accepting community where every family feels valued and connected, no matter their background or faith journey. Together, let’s celebrate the values of justice, kindness, and togetherness.
This program is in partnership with Jewish Federation Gather Grants, J-Interfaith, Nurture, PJ Library Atlanta, Repair the World, The Davis Academy, Temple Sinai PTO, The Schiff School PTO, The Weinstein School PTO, Etz Chaim Preschool, The Mitzvah House, Singing Hearts Preschool and Summer365.
We are excited to also include Shabbat Across Atlanta and the Jewish Community Professionals initiative at this event.
