The cast has been selected and the rehearsals are in full swing for our exciting production of Disney’s Moana Jr., which will take place in the Rosenberg Performing Arts Theatre, located at the Lower School! Almost 180 Mechina through eighth grade students will participate in this performance both on stage and as members of the crew, not to mention many Davis Academy alumni who will be returning to school to work with students as part of our alumni mentor program.
This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana JR. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us.
Doors open at 10:00 am and performance starts at 10:30 am.
